About Brookline

Brookline MA is the innermost suburb of Boston. As a matter of fact, it is surrounded almost completely by Boston. Brookline has great shopping, from the mom and pop to the high-end boutiques, but many families move there for the schools. The Brookline public school system is renowned as one of the best in the nation.

There is a wide variety of real estate for sale in Brookline, from relatively inexpensive one-bedroom and studio condos to massive estates. Click below to see.

Brookline Attractions

Brookline has some great restaurants. A couple of options are tapas at Taberna de Haro or fabulous sushi and other Japanese food at Fugakyu. Visit the JFK birthplace near Coolidge Corner or the Larz Anderson auto museum. Check out classic films at the Coolidge Corner Theater. Visit the Frederick Law Ohlmstead National Historic Site. Or just go shopping at the many shops and boutiques that Brookline has to offer.

Navigating Brookline

Since Brookline is geographically almost a part of Boston, the commute downtown is very easy either by Green Line B, C, or D. Storrow drive and Beacon Street, route 9/Boylston Street, and Commonwealth Avenues are good solutions as well (see map). To the west is the neighborhood of Brighton and the city of Newton. It also adjoins the Longwood Medical Area.
