Midtown-Downtown Boston: Full Service Luxury Condos, Restaurants, and Theater.
Real Estate in Midtown, the area of Downtown Boston adjacent to the Theater Distric and Boston Common is mostly comprised of luxury high-rise full-service buildings. It is not really recognized officially as a neighborhood, and many people just refer to it as "Downtown Boston" or "Downtown Crossing".

Boston’s Theater District is here, The Opera House, The Paramount, The Citi Performing Arts Center, The Colonial Theater, The Majestic Theater is right there in the neighborhood. Until about 30 years ago, the Washington Street section of what is now Midtown was called the "combat zone", catering to the "adult" industry. Suffice it to say that the area has completely transformed itself. Midtown, which wasn't even heard of a decade ago, now regularly tops the charts in property pricing.

Midtown is very conveniently located if you work anywhere in Downtown Boston, such as the Financial District, or need easy access to Logan Airport. If you work at or need to be near local Tufts Medical Center or go to Tufts Medical School or Tufts Dental, it's a very short walk. It is served by the MBTA's Green line at Boylston and Park Streets, the Red line at Park Street and the Orange line at Downtown Crossing
