Boston real estate market median pricesBoston real estate market median prices7/6/2016- Here's this month's Boston real estate market update! Inventory in the core downtown neighborhoods of Boston seems to have loosened up just a bit. Last year at this time there were 372 units downtown wide. Now there are 383. Progress. Average days-on-market downtown-wide YTD continues to be minimal at an average of 31 days, which has gone down in the last month. As stated before, many properties go under agreement in just a few days. Median price is up 7.6% YTD over last year, going from $675,000 to $726,000.It is a really good time to be a seller. My listings have sold for an average 103.5% of asking 4 median days-to-offer in the last 12 months.
